I’ve often remarked that people in cars are just as bad as people on bicycles, but cyclists get singled out because “hey that person is doing something different, and different is bad!”. As it turns out though
, that’s not even a generous thought, because
cyclists are better car drivers.

The difference
is probably greater today than in the past,
given half of motorists seem to be texting rather than looking where they’re going.

I have seen cyclists and motorcyclists texting while riding (really).
So maybe cyclists are just behind the curve and catching up with distracted drivers.
